We specialize in implementing, adapting, and upgrading Oracle application software to meet our diverse clients' needs. We are seeking an individual with a strong background in implementing Business Intelligence solutions to join our consulting team. This position can be based in the U.S. in Salt Lake City, Boise, Portland, Spokane or Seattle or in Canada, in Vancouver, BC or Calgary, AB.

 

Responsibilities include assisting the BI Applications project team with implementations and upgrades; gathering and documenting operational and business requirements; defining configuration, customization, and integration needs.

 

Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or an IT related field with a minimum of 3 years experience configuring and deploying Business Intelligence software/systems.

 Hands-on experience with one or more of Oracle’s reporting, publishing and data analysis tools; Oracle Discoverer, FSG reporting, Report Manager, DBI, OBIEE (formerly know as Siebel Analytics), Hyperion, Oracle Portal, XML Publisher, BI Views, Oracle Reports.

 Strong understanding of data warehouse concepts and terminology such as ETL process, metadata layer, organizing data in cubes, hierarchies and dimensions. Understanding of star and snowflake schema structures is a plus.

 Experience in designing and publishing data views to support business process analysis.

 Ability to identify business process measures and metrics for one or more of the following business processes; financial, sales, production, manufacturing, planning and forecasting.

 Ability to review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs and to formulate BI solutions to parallel overall business strategies.

 Strong presentation and communication skills; proven leadership initiative; ability to work effectively with diverse teams; self-motivation and the desire to excel in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, as well as, ability/desire to travel extensively throughout Western Canada and the U.S. (Pacific Northwest) is required.
