My Client is the leader of Digital Media Technology and powers products and companies like: iTunes, iPods, Sony, Phillips, Yahoo, Blackberry, Samsung, and many others. Founded 10 years ago and still growing strong they continue to be a solid successful company in the Music and Media spaces.

About the position:

The Oracle Application Developer will have strong experience in proposing, estimating, designing, developing and supporting technical solutions. This position requires a deep understanding of the Oracle E-Business Suite technical architecture as well as experience with Oracle and MS SQL Database Administration and Microsoft Development technologies.

The core competencies for this position should be with development and database tools that will enable them to design support and develop Application extensions, integrations, conversions, EDI/XML reports modification/creation, and workflows.

 

What you will be doing:

Develop technical design documents for Conversions, extensions, interfaces, and reports

Resolve applications support request on daily basis. Apply sound release management and configuration management principles.

Responsibilities will include performance tuning, development and technical documentation

Maintains up-to-date technical knowledge and understanding of enterprise applications and platforms

Ability to handle multiple priorities, work flows, and meet necessary deadlines

Ability to effectively exchange information clearly and concisely, and present ideas, report facts and other information, and respond to questions as appropriate

Ability to thrive in a fast paced, small team environment

 

What you will need:

A detailed level understanding of business processes/business flows and the underlying technical architectures for at least two of the following systems:

Oracle Financial Suite, Salesforce.com, Siebel on Demand, SharePoint 2007, Project Server 2007

Proficiency with tools used to in Applications development including, but not limited to, PL/SQL, SQL*Plus, Forms, Reports, Workflow Builder, Discoverer, JSP, Java Beans, Web Services,, Visual Studio.

Proficiency with tools used to for report writing, XML Publisher, Oracle Reports, SQL Analysis Server, Crystal Reports Server etc..

Detailed understanding of concepts and issues multiple Database Platforms. DBA level expertise with at least 2 of the following database platforms:

Oracle 10G, MS SQL 2005, MYSQL, DB2
