Are you a go-getter?  If so, you need to apply TODAY. Our client is the largest independently held TV site online.  The company reached nearly 5MM unique visitors every month/40MM PV a month and is positioned to become the largest overall TV site very quickly.  Registered users are nearly 800,000 users.   The senior sales executive will be instrumental in leading its monetization efforts and will have tremendous impact in the online media and television industry.   The target compensation DOE will be in the base of $100K-$150K range with a target bonus/commission structure of 100% of base.  The individual is expected to be able to close $1M USD in annual sales.  Responsibilities:Sales Responsibilities •Serve as company’s “Industry Expertâ€� on online advertising •Identify and Contact Potential Clients and Advertising Targets •Refine sales pitch & strategy (site sponsorship & ad packages) •Develop sales documents & media kits •Schedule & conduct pitch meetings with advertising clients •Close Sales •Identify and engage with ad sales partners including 3rd party networks, ad sales agencies, ad insertion and tracking platform providers to maximize value of inventory. Operations & Planning Responsibilities •Manage the advertising sales operations •Devise ad placement strategies and define inventory allocations •Establish business advertising sales business processes •Forecast Sales •Work with publishing team to launch advertising campaigns •Regular tracking and reporting on results Qualifications: 5+ years online sales experience preferably in an entertainment vertical space successfully selling into large media companies Demonstrated record of success in a goal oriented, highly accountable sales environment ideally closing over $1MM USD in sales per year Cold calling experience required. Strong foundation in internet metrics and performance measurements. Superior phone skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience managing a large client base. Experience managing the entire sales process. Experience providing sales reports to senior management. Deep understanding of online advertising industry Ability to work effectively as part of a sales team. Experience in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment is preferred. Bachelor's degree.
