Title: Network Administrator Reports to: VP of Technical Operations  GarageGames is looking for a Network Administrator to build out and administer both our internal IT network infrastructure as well as our web portal, http://www.instantaction.com The ideal candidate is innovative, creative, highly energetic, and has experience with networking in high volume and high redundancy and failover situations. Responsibilities: Maintain and improve existing office network infrastructure Create, maintain, and improve infrastructure for InstantAction, hosted in external datacenters. Work with operations to assist in collecting data for monitoring and metrics Plan and test failover scenarios Expose APIs to help automated manipulation of load balancers and CDNs Requirements for this position: Experience with load balancers such as BigIP, Foundry, Cisco, Coyote Point Experience with edge and border routers Experience with intrusion detection and prevention Experience with Dell / HP chassis switches or similar DNS / BGP / OSPF fluency VPN / VLAN Linux familiarity Bachelors in Computer Science or related field of study Ability to work on-site at the GarageGames office in Eugene, Oregon In addition, the following are major pluses, but are not required: Experience with perl Experience with SVN, CVS or other version control system Understanding of web caching techniques A passion for games and game technology About IAC & GarageGamesIAC operates leading and diversified businesses in sectors being transformed by the internet, online and offline... our mission is to harness the power of interactivity to make daily life easier and more productive for people all over the world.
