.Net Technical Manager

Well established company providing proprietary, end-to-end solution targeted to major media, entertainment and publishing companies.

Responsibilities:
*Provide technical leadership to a group of 6-12 Engineers who work on implementation of company's end-to-end software solution at client companies located in the NY Metro area.
*Designing, Planning, execution and implementation of mission critical technically complex projects using one or more of the following :
->.Net Framework, C#, Oracle, PL/SQL, Web services, Infragistics
*Resolve technical issues on variety of projects as and when needed
*Effort estimation and client management
*Accountable for the overall timely delivery of the project and success of the team
*Provide timely and accurate communication to team, project, and technical leads
*Manage integration and conversion tasks on various projects
->Understand requirements for test data and data migration/conversion within the project
->Develop mechanisms for extracting, collating, cleansing and importing data between legacy systems and the company's products
*Seek out new technologies and ideas to add value to our products

Required Skills:
*At least 7 years development expertise in ASP,ASP.NET,C#, PL/SQL and Oracle 10g,9i
*BS degree in computer science strongly preferred
*Demonstrated expertise in problem solving and technical innovation.
*Excellent communication (written and oral), interpersonal skills
*Proven ability to share knowledge with junior team members
*Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment
*Strong supervisory, coaching and project management skills
*Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
