.Net Software Engineer

DefenseWeb Technologies is currently seeking multiple experienced Software Engineers to design and develop the highest quality product possible. The selected candidates will be responsible for design and development of our software products through development methodologies and standards.

ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and deliver complex, well-built Internet applications. Coordinate with a number of different team members—from clients to managers and marketing—to meet deadlines. Translate technical requirements and understand client's needs to help frame a solution that exceeds all expectations. Work on a team in a collaborative environment to build the best solution. Willingness to share knowledge, mentor colleagues, and learn new technologies.

QualificationsSolid experience with ASP.NET (preferably C#) including ASP.NET User Controls development. Knowledge of XSL, HTTP, Web Services and distributed applications. Experience designing and documenting the data and business layers of a .NET application that uses a SQL database backend. Knowledge of SQL database design. Knowledge of SQL statements and their impact on database performance. Solid experience using ADO.NET in a real-world database environment. Experience in component-based .NET architecture and object-oriented design and programming technologies. Experience with rapid development methodologies, structure and tools (e.g., code generators, data modeling tools, etc.) Excellent written, verbal, and documentation skills.

EducationBachelor's degree, preferably in computer science or a related field and at least five (5) years of experience in software development with at least one (1) year of experience in C# development.
