.Net Senior Developer

This position is a contract or contract-to-hire opportunity for a senior candidate. The client has proven that it will hire, if mutually acceptable, a valued contributor.

Responsibilities
Our client's rapidly expanding software development team is in need of a senior developer with the mind of an architect and the energy of a code warrior. You will be responsible for analyzing new customer requirements and designing an appropriate software solution, then providing hands-on development, with your team, of those solutions. You will also be responsible for guiding and advising the team on the capabilities and limitations of .Net.

Requirements
We are looking for 8+ years full lifecycle software development experience of Object-Oriented software. A degree in Computer Science or related program is also necessary.
The selected candidate will have worked with Microsoft Visual Studio and the .Net framework from its near inception, and understand its evolution, capabilities and limitations.
Key development experience with C#, .Net, ASP.Net, ADO.Net, and Visual Studio 6.0 through 2005 is required. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server is also required.
Srong skills in understanding customer requirements and patience in designing optimal solutions before beginning development are also required.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, excellent writing skills and an adaptive abilities are also required.
Experience with Agile Iterative software development methodology is highly desired.


Compensation & Benefits Overview
Salary will be based on qualifications, but generally will range from $75K to $90K annual. Benefits will be provided both during the contract and perm employment.
