.NET/Sharepoint Developer Needed

 

Thompson Technologies has an immediate full-time opening for a Sr. .NET Developer with Microsoft focused background for an opportunity with an exciting organization in Atlanta (Midtown).

Job Summary:

Under general direction, provides system development, enhancement, and maintenance for the client's enterprise applications and serves as a technical team member on internal projects.

 

Job Responsibilities:Create superior software design using OOP and Agile methodologies Architect, analyze, design, implement and maintain high quality software solutions Follow, create and improve upon the development process like, code reviews, unit testing. Provide technical expertise and See projects / assignments through to completion while adhering to business timelines. Improve upon current skills while also developing and mastering new technical skills Provide 3rd level support to all applications. Provide on call support on rotation. Participates as an active team member on projects assisting project managers in completion of project tasks. Ensure proper documentation is maintained on all projects.

 

Knowledge and Skills:

· Bachelor's Degree in the area of CS, CIS, EE, Mathematics or related field.

· 5+ years experience with application development and design in a professional environment

· 2+ years experience with Sharepoint development including web part development and custom branding

· 2+ years experience with  C#

· 2+ years experience with ASP and ASP.NET

· 2+ years experience in SQL Server and understanding of relational databases

· Outstanding software debugging skills; ability to debug complex applications with multi-threaded algorithms

· Experience with any of the following helpful: XML / XSLT, Web Services,  JavaScript, VBScript, HTML, DHTML

· Strong organization and planning skills

· Ability to manage schedules and commitments

· Strong communication and inter personal skills
