Position Summary: Responsible for the installation, configuration, administering web application environments. Providing on-call support for the production systems during off hours as and when required.  Responsible for monitoring, tuning and troubleshooting of middleware software.  Manage release to production of software source file code.  Stay abreast of market trends. Essential Functions: 50% Installation, maintenance, and support of middleware and packaged applications across all life cycle environments.  Identify and solve complex tasks and projects and provide leadership to team members. Providing on-call support for the production systems during off hours as and when required.30% Work with vendors, application development groups, and infrastructure support group on hardware/OS related issues.  Research industry trends, research/evaluate/introduce new technologies and provide operational support. 10% Responsible for managing web-based software releases to all life cycles environments. Prepare and maintain software support procedures.10% Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements: Four year degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or related field and/or equivalent training and/or experience; 4+ years of experience in Web/system middleware administration in a UNIX and NT environment, including experience with WebLogic.  Good communications skills a must.Positions working on specific contracts may require U.S. Citizenship.Because of the nature and immediacy of the work, the ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance is essential.Additional Comments: 5% local and overnight travel Experience with WebLogic required Experience with JBOSS, Java/J2EE preferred Knowledge of Oracle, SqlServer databases preferred Knowledge of Weblogic Clustering required Experience designing Weblogic domains IFMC and its affiliates are Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employers.
