Mid-to-senior software developer with molecular biology background
Jacquette Consulting, a rapidly growing employee-owned company based in Malvern, PA seeks software developers with 3+ years of post-graduate software development experience for permanent, salaried positions with local clients.
Must have 2+ years development or support experience with data management systems, preferably in the life sciences arena. Must be fluent in a mainstream object oriented language such C++, Java, Visual Basic .NET, or C#, and have web application development experience. Familiarity with agile development methodologies or the pharmaceutical industry a plus. Must have prior experience working in a molecular biology laboratory setting and interacting directly with scientists. Experience with bioinformatics or Chemical and Biological Information Systems (CBIS) a strong plus.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science, information systems, or similar technical field required.
Advanced studies in molecular biology or a similar field a strong plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
No travel required.
