Mid to Senior level Contract Java Developer needed in Irvine
Are you looking for a good opportunity in Orange County? We have a client who needs a Java Developer to come in and help them on a project.
Job Description/ResponsibilitiesWork with team to develop client/server applicationsDatabase and Database driven application developmentCreate technical documentation on developed applications. Work with customers and application experts to analyze needs and provide feasible software solutions. Work on projects and meet assigned deadlines.Keep up to date on new technologies pertaining to the development of software
Skills Required:Overall 7 years web development in any language5 years of Java web development experience HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAXJava 5, J2EE 1.4 (Servlet, JSP), Struts (MVC), JSFSQL database knowledge (i.e. IBM DB2, MSSQL or MySQL).Web application server expertise (i.e. Websphere Application Server, Jboss, BEA Web logic)Java IDE experience (i.e. Eclipse or IBM WebSphere Studio Application Developer)SubversionObject Oriented Design
Pluses:
SOA/Web Services/ESB
Rules engine (such as Drools/Jboss Rules)
