Mid-Level and Senior Level Software Developer

 



RolloverSystems is a financial services software company that develops leading-edge rollover solutions for financial institutions, plan sponsors, HR technology firms and plan participants.  We currently have two exciting positions available for a Mid-Level and Senior Level Software Developer in Charlotte, NC.

 

The ideal candidates must be highly motivated, results oriented individuals with the initiative to identify and act on opportunities for improvement, lead cross-functional projects, engage the necessary parties as appropriate, build a team and lead a staff of motivated people. Attention to detail and accuracy is critical. 

 

Position Overview:

These positions are is responsible for writing, designing, modifying, implementing and supporting software applications. The successful candidate will also participate in the testing process through test reviews and analysis.

 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

· Write software utilizing object-oriented programming methodologies

· Unit-test implementations

· Provide documentation and support for implemented software

· Research Technology and make recommendations

 

Minimum Requirements:

· BS/BA in Computer Science or equivalent work experience

· 4 years of software development experience.

· Experience in web technologies (Web services, HTTP, SSL, ECMA Script) 

· Understanding of Unified Modeling Language (UML)

· Knowledge of Extensible Markup Language (XML) Object-Oriented Programming; Microsoft .Net Development tools (Visual Basic, C# (c-sharp))

· Understanding of Use-Cases and scripting technologies (JavaScript)

 

Desired Skills:

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills are imperative

· Strong coordination, facilitation, consultation, and conflict resolution skills

· Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to deal effectively in a team environment

· Skilled in organizing resources and establishing priorities

·  Skilled in the use of personal computers and related software applications
