Mid-Entry Level Software Developer (ASP)

A busy e-commerce firm is seeking 2 full-time entry/mid-level software developers to augment our existing development team.  This is a challenging but highly rewarding environment constantly adapting and succeeding in dynamic market conditions. 

 

As a developer at PCM you will be expected to work within existing proprietary code to apply feature enhancements, new features and troubleshoot software bugs.  You will also be asked to generate new code which will be expected to follow our methodologies for structure and security. 

 

You will work closely with end-users and IT staff during all phases of development to ensure accurate specification & documentation and successful results.  Your input in all aspects of interface design will be valued and considered, our goal is to provide our users with the most efficient means of performing their duties.

 

Required Skills:

-ASP and ASP.NET

-SQL Server integration

-Background with ecommerce & reporting a plus

-Understanding of secure coding practice as it pertains to web applications

-Proficiency with Java Script a plus

-Proficiency with Real Basic a plus

-Strong written and oral communication skills

-Team player

 

Primary Responsibilities:

-Maintain and support existing asp/asp.net applications

-Creative development of new web application tools & -features

-GUI enhancement

-Performance optimization

 

Graphical design, reporting and general functionality must be optimized to a high transaction environment.

 

We are looking to hire and train developers for long term employment.  Software development firms and those that seek contract work only need not apply.

 

This is an on-site employment opportunity with the potential for a transition to full or part time telecommuting.  Candidates living in Phoenix metro area preferred though limited relocation assistance may be available.

 

Starting salary from $55k-$65k DOE.
