MicroStrategy Developer

All applicants must have a minimum of 8 years IT Industry experience in order to apply.  No 3rd party resumes accepted. JOB TITLE:  MicroStrategy DeveloperLOCATION:  Orlando, FL BE PART OF OUR CLIENT'S BI TEAM IN ORLANDO, FL.  ***6 MONTH RTH or Direct Placement / SALARY + BONUS, SIGN-ON/RELO BONUS JOB DESCRIPTION· Provide technical expertise for a multitude of critical technological skills and/or core business applications used at the client.  · Work closely with customers and other project team member to understand and prioritize business goals and information needs; then participate in the development of systems requirements and design specifications; help refine conceptual systems design requirements into the technical design.· Effectively communicate with customers and management throughout the project lifecycle.  Ensure issues are analyzed, discussed and resolved in a timely manner.  Ensure accurate project status is always known and communicated.· Provide technical support to customers and IT team members to fully satisfy their needs.  Assist customers in the preparation of user documentation and training materials.· Assist project team with determining the appropriate technical platform (hardware and software) for new applications. REQUIRED SKILLS· Strong background using MicroStrategy's Business Intelligence Platform· Advanced understanding and experience in Data Warehouse data modeling· Advanced understanding and experience with MicroStrategy's Narrowcast Server· Experience tuning MicroStrategy in an enterprise environment· Strong ability to analyze and debug SQL and recognize MicroStrategy query improvements· Advanced experience developing complex MicroStrategy reports and Report Services Documents· Demonstrated competency in designing, programming and testing complex applications or components· Demonstrated competency in accurately identifying the scope of work. Preparing thorough, detailed schedule estimates · Exceptional verbal and written comm. skills.
