The Medical Billing Rep at Practice Solutions is responsible for the daily processing of information for the NextGen Revenue Cycle Management operations. These tasks include processing of patient data, producing/submitting claims, payment posting, telephone inquiries and A/R follow-up. Data Entry Includes Encounter / Charge Entry Payment Posting
Statement Generation
A/R Management Worklog Manager
Image Scanning
Batch Balancing Field Telephone calls from patients & insurance companies
Required:
Basic Windows and Microsoft Office experience
o Understanding of the medical billing environment
o ICD9 and CPT4 code understanding
o Operation of the NextGen EPM software related to duties
o General Knowledge of HIPAA and OIG policies as defined in the NextGen Healthcare manual
Preferred:
Bachelor's Degree
Prior billing company or medical practice experience
National ICD9 CPT4 coding certification
