Title:  Marketing, Web Project Manager / Designer

Location:  Port Washington, NY

 

Our client is a very stable, yet growing, internationally based, mid-sized, multi-divisional consumer goods company with a strong brand presence. 

 

They seek to bring on board an experienced Web Project Manager / Graphic Designer who has solid project management skills in an E-commerce, business-to-business and/or business-to-customer environment within a related industry (consumer goods, apparel, accessories, and/ or footwear). 

 

Core Responsibility

 

The Marketing Web Project Manager position would include but not be limited to the following responsibilities:

 

·  Responsible for management of new website development and implementation.

·  Provide analysis of current web process challenges/problems and develop solutions

·  Provide regular site maintenance – product updates, editorial updates, etc.

·  Advise on issues related to search engine techniques, link integrity, navigation, browsers, etc.

·  Project management of website content including product descriptions, photography, graphic development (banners, imaging, etc.) and programming to implement requested website features

·  Project management of website functionality and navigation testing prior to site launch

·  Presentation and training of completed web project to customer service, purchasing, etc.

·  Responsible for maintenance and continual improvement of the new web site in order to keep site relevant, appropriately branded and effective as a selling and communication tool.

·  Responsible for development, implementation, maintenance and continual improvement of new website

·  Responsible for the development, implementation, maintenance and continual improvement of different Websites

·  Responsible for project management of development and implementation

 

Accountabilities

 Develop and maintain a strong product photography, copywriting and web development vendor baseNegotiate pricing and maintain efficient production schedules with all vendors.  Work with division leaders, customer service and product development to ensure streamlined and accurate information process.Consistently work in a variety of website environments, simultaneously to effectively complete assigned responsibilities.Deliver projects on time, on budget and within scopeLimited travel may be required for the execution of all responsibilities listed above.

 Must have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.  Must have working knowledge of web programming languages Must be self-motivated, yet willing to work in a team-oriented environment.Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Must be open to working some weekends and/or evenings where necessary. Must be flexible.
