The Marketing Specialist - Art Direction supports the Sales and Marketing environment by developing and implementing a unified creative direction that both defines and integrates all communication efforts harmoniously. Guided by very specific sales goals and through a collaborative strategic process, this position will design communications that target our audience in a style that fits our corporate culture as well as our sales objectives. This position will demonstrate a proficiency in various design software programs in order to design and implement marketing collateral that aids in the sales process, improves product positioning and facilitates product enhancements. This Marketing Specialist - Art Direction will oversee all areas of Applied Systems Branded efforts to assure that specific product and corporate identities are properly aligned. This position works closely with many different areas to implement creative concepts that target intended sales prospects with the appropriate message.
Requirements:Demonstrated expertise in business to business marketing strategies Hands-on production skills to execute all promotional components and to manage outside costs and internal timelines 2-5 years in a sales and marketing capacity within the software industry General knowledge of marketing principles / practices Intermediate level proficiency with Word and Excel Intermediate to expert level of proficiency in at least one of the following specialty areas: writing / editing, graphics / design, Applied Systems product knowledge, or research Strong project management skills Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills The ability to work well with and influence others, from executive staff to junior colleagues 30% national travel required
