Marketing Production Specialist

Position Summary:

As part of the corporate marketing agency, the Marketing Production Specialist will work to create, develop and maintain quality control for all HTML integrated communications program development and delivery supporting the Aberdeen communities and the extensive research which talk to the issues on top of the mind of technology buyers. In addition, this roll will work with the marketing senior staff to develop and manage all search marketing activities across several sites including both paid and organic campaigns.

 

The ideal candidate must have both technical skills and a sense for web page layout and adherence to template guidelines. Our team designs, develops, and produces all types of marketing and corporate communication materials both print and web. You must have the ability to successfully collaborate with designers, developers and project managers and editors to develop high-quality deliverables. The ideal candidate for this position will have a solid understanding of email systems and processing, email communications development and delivery, using XHTML, CSS, Dreamweaver Templates and optimized graphics as part of their job experience. Extreme attention to detail is required.

 

Key Responsibilities:Review and assure quality for any outgoing Email messages through our Email vendor.Hands on production of integrated communications and marketing campaigns and quality control standards.Must be able to work as both part of a team and independently. Produce HTML pages from source documents (PDFs, Word docs, etc), using Dreamweaver templates Layout text and graphics using site production templates and style guidelines Work with the Marketing staff to implement the SEO strategy to increase traffic driven by search engines. Perform page level audits make detailed recommendations for on-page & off-page optimization improvements. Brainstorm and analyze keywords and develop searcher intent models Research, analyze and perform strategic link building and outreach Run regular analytics reports using a variety of proprietary and licensed software applications and web analytics tools Self-motivated to continue training to develop relevant knowledge and skills. 

Experience: Experience in Quality Assurance for HTML communication delivery.Minimum 2 years in an agency or as part of a web production teamStrong XHTML, CSS skills and Web graphic productionBeginning to intermediate Dreamweaver, Fireworks and Photoshop  skills Strong understanding of and practice in template production Understanding of Web accessibility guidelines1-2 years experience in Search Engine Optimization preferred Detailed understanding of search engine scoring algorithms Knowledge of XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript Understanding of site analytics tools (e.g Google Analytics, Webtrends, HBX) Self-motivated with a keen enthusiasm for and demonstrable understanding of the Web industry and technologiesStrong attention to detail Strong communication skills
