Marketing Communications Coordinator

The primary responsibility of the Marketing Communications Coordinator is to assist the global marketing communications team in activities such as coordination of tradeshows, seminars, and corporate events; management of the event calendar; maintenance of marketing communications literature inventory and supplies; assistance with the review and edit of corporate and customer-facing PowerPoint presentations; maintenance of our public relations databases; assistance with search engine marketing; assistance with the maintenance of the corporate intranet and internet; management of purchase requisitions; maintenance of the marketing budget spreadsheet; as along with additional other duties such as participation in design and lead management as required.

 

The qualified candidate will possess a minimum of 2-4 years marketing experience, at least 1-2 years of event marketing experience preferred. The ideal candidate will have experience working within software or hi-tech industry, preferably within the corporate communications environment. The candidate must possess writing and editing skill proficiency and have  exceptional multi-tasking and organizational skills.  Familiarity with the MSOffice, particularly Excel and PowerPoint is required. This is a “do whatever it takesâ€� department that fuels our organization’s sales-facing engine, thus enthusiasm and excellent interpersonal communication skills are essential.
