Manager, Financial Reporting

 

Job Summary

This candidate will have the overall responsibility for the Company’s external financial reporting requirements.  This position will work with various personnel within the Finance department as well as other departments to ensure accurate and timely external reporting.

Job Details

q Preparation and review of SEC filings and press releases. 

q Keep current on new reporting standards as issued by the SEC, PCAOB or other regulatory bodies and ensure the Company’s releases and filings are modified as appropriate.

q Performs periodic calculations of basic and diluted earnings per share, including the effects of stock based compensation.  Also develops required EPS disclosures.

q Assist in the compliance with Section 404 of Sarbanes-Oxley.

q Perform accounting research that will provide authoritative answers for solving accounting issues as they arise.

q Coordinate with / provide assistance to the external auditors.

q Perform special projects for senior management.

 

Background Requirements:

 

q Bachelors degree in accounting

q 5 -10 years of public accounting or financial reporting experience

q Experience in SEC reporting requirements and consolidation accounting required

q CPA required
