Sage Software Healthcare Division has an immediate opening for a Manager, District Sales SummaryManages the sale of Sage Healthcare software products and services through five assigned Account Executives in a twelve state West Region area: AZ, CO, NM, NV, OR, WA, WY, UT, MT,  ID, HI, and AK.  Also personally sells products to physician customers.Responsibilities Responsible for weekly forecast, Siebel database integrity, and assisting Sales Reps with contract negotiations and final close. Develops business plans to meet sales quota, driving sales of all products for each prospective client and customer account in territory.  Insures records are maintained for all sales contacts and activities in our current management programs. Responsible for personal sales plan Manages Sales Reps and works closely with service executives, product managers, and inside sales team and technical group for customer satisfaction. Networks with industry influences, professional associations, consultants and existing clients. Works closely with Marketing and Product Management to identify opportunities resulting from trade show leads, industry meetings, and telemarketing campaigns. Maintains an understanding of trends/issues within the healthcare industry that affect physician practices.QualificationsPreferred Candidate Location:  Scottsdale AZ or Southern California; relocation of a candidate is not anticipatedSkills & Certifications:  Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; Outlook, Excel and Power Point.  Exceptional communication and presentation skills.  Basic understanding of hardware and software operating systems, platforms and networks.Experience:  At least 10 years of sales experience or related healthcare industry experience and 3 - 4 years of previous management experience.  Working knowledge of management programs (ACT, Goldmine, Siebel, etc.).Education:  Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent experience.  Healthcare information technology is exploding as physicians across the nation adopt technology to improve profitability and enhance the excellent healthcare they provide.
