MainFrame Operations Technician (night shift) Omaha, Nebraska6months + General Job Description: The Main Frame Operations Technician is part of a team providing support for system and customer batch processing.  System and online monitoring, escalation, batch abend and recovery and system restarts. Individual will be responsible for interacting with customers, both internal and external regarding system and batch related requests, problems, and natural processing on the MVS platform.  Responsibilities Monitor system readiness and report status changes as needed Evaluate and resolve issues, or escalate problems to the appropriate administrative team  12 hour Night shift 7 PM to 7 am Qualifications and Skills  5+ years Main Frame Operations Ticket Tracking Systems Monitoring Devices such as PEM Mainframe scheduling package such as CA-7, ControlM, OPC, ZEKE, JobTrac, etc. Desired Skills JES3, JCL, Unix, iSeries, TWS, OPS/MVS Education or experience equal to Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related.
