MS Server Admin

Location: Sacramento, CA 94203 Employment Type: Full Time, Employee Expected Duration: 5+ to 7 Years Pay Rate: USD 105,000.00 /year Reference Code: 1001107545 This position supports all aspects of the MS Project Server implementation for the Program Management Office.  Key responsibilities include performing general server administrative and maintenance tasks, monitoring and optimizing system performance and reliability, system architecture design, managing enhancements/upgrades and providing end-user support.  The candidate will perform as the MS Project subject matter expert for all technical aspects of MS Project Server including MS SharePoint as it pertains to MS Project Server. Key Skillsets and Requirements:MS SharePoint MS Project SRS and Crystal ReportsProject Professional, Portfolio Analyzer and Portfolio ModelerMS Project Server Black Belt Certification Microsoft Project Server 2003 Microsoft 2007 (is a plus) Project Server 2003/SQL Server/Windows Microsoft Office Project 2003 EPM Solution Architecture  Duties:Provide training, coaching and mentoring to IS project planners, preparing project and portfolio management reports using SRS and Crystal Reports, installing and configuring development, test and production environments, assisting end users in the setup of project plans and Project Web Access, and building and testing global templates/views within Project Professional, Portfolio Analyzer and Portfolio Modeler. Education: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Formal education in MS Project Server administration or equivalent work experience is required.
