Description:

 

This position is located in Washington, DC very close to the Farragut West Metro stop.  Compensation includes assistance with site parking or subway.  The Senior MS Project Server Consultant will:

 

Have experience in substantial MS Project Server implementations and will be responsible for all aspects of installation, customization, test and implementation of MS Project Server for our customer . The Consultant will have demonstrated technical leadership abilities and a proven track record of successfully delivering enterprise-grade MS Project Server installations. This position will be involved in multiple aspects of the MS Project Server installation and customization process – strategic and tactical – and must have the skills and desire to play a variety of roles and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.

 

Provide senior-level MS Project Server technical leadership. This will involve development of strategies and plans in support of the customer requirements, feasibility assessment and technical designs that lead to the successful installation and use of MS Project Server for our customers.  Will also conduct or assist in Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) customization to fit needs derived and related to MS Project Server installations.

 



Help establish MS Project Server installation, customization and use standards and best practices and actively participates in continuous improvement initiatives.

 

Provide governance and oversight consulting to assist customers in best use of the installation and MS Project Server in general.

 

Requirements:



 

Must be a US Citizen  Minimum 1 year experience with MOSS Minimum of two years experience in installing and customizing MS Project Server for substantial organizations and plans Minimum of one year experience in providing best practice guidance for MS Project Server. MS Project Pro 2007 Experience Ability to mentor/coach others. Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical audiences Motivated individual with proven track record of on-time delivery Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills Strong team collaboration skills A track record of learning and professional development.

Desired:

 Web Services, Web, and N-Tier architecture experience Experience dealing with off-site teams

Microsoft Certifications

Applicants selected shall be subject to a background investigation to gain a Public Trust clearance and must therefore meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.  This position does not require a clearance to apply, however an active Secret Clearance would be helpful.
