Level 3 Software Engineer -- Document Management

A trusted client of Manpower Professional is is currently looking for a Software Engineer Level 3 for the Document Management – Imaging Division.The Software Engineer Level 3 is responsible for: consulting in the project planning process with Business Analysts, architects and team members; advising on system options, risk, cost versus benefits, and impacts on business processes and goals; developing applications specifications; defining, developing or modifying application modules or enterprise-wide software systems using disciplined software development processes; adhering to quality standards and procedures; reviewing modules for quality assurance and checking compliance with application architecture standards; assisting in defining development guidelines and standards to be utilized in software development/integration, when needed; conducting unit testing of application modules to ensure application meets specifications; documenting changes to architecture, integration and conversion plans; developing and maintaining system and application architecture diagrams, when needed; providing ongoing maintenance of applications; completing forms, following procedures and completing version control documents; providing Tier III (integration) support; troubleshooting existing information systems to identify errors or deficiencies and developing solutions; capturing and tracing operational metrics to understand performance and ensuring success in process improvements; providing technical leadership, coaching, and mentoring to team members; developing reports and presentations for senior management, as needed; ability to plan and prioritize workload to meet deadlines, while planning and tracking status on several projects at once and adjusting to constant business change and changing requirements.Requirements: Qualifications . High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in IT discipline is preferred . Minimum 6 years of work experience in Information Technology . Minimum 6 years of experience with SQL/Database skills . Minimum 3 years of experience with VB.Net and/or ASP.Net . Minimum 3 years of experience with C or Assembly programming language . Expected travel up to 15% . Experience with Hex editors, preferred . Experience with FileNet or Documentum, preferred . Experience with Compression Algorithms or Graphics Development (GDI/GDI+), preferred ...
