Lead Applications/Business Systems Analyst
Foth & Van Dyke LLC, a nationally recognized, employee-owned engineering firm, is seeking a Lead Applications/Business Systems Analyst for our Green Bay, WI location.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESWork with Operating Units to understand business objectives and how they impact each otherProactively identify and lead new business opportunities through the delivery of software solutionsEvaluate options for custom development versus 3rd party solutions; possess basic understanding of available solutions Perform project planning, including definition of roles and approach, estimates, and timelineExhibit understanding of project management principles, such as provided by the Project Management Institute (PMI)Demonstrate thorough knowledge and proficiency of the software development lifecycle, including available tools and techniquesElicit, analyze, and refine requirements to define an acceptable solution to the business problemLead and organize the design and development of application software systemsProvide leadership and direction to IT team, as well as internal and external members, clients and vendorsDemonstrate effective listening, written and verbal communication skills; ability to deliver to both technical and non-technical audiencesWork effectively with minimal supervision in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Management of Information Systems Seven to ten years experience with application support and development, as well as project managementMinimum of 5 years experience and proven successful track record in delivering enterprise-wide application development and support Minimum of two years software architecture design experiencePrevious experience with the following Microsoft Development Tools: MS Visual Studio .Net, .net programming languages (ASP.NET, VB.NET, C#, CSS, HTML, XML/XSLT), .Net Web Services, MS SQL Server, Source Safe, and Visio.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Previous experience with Sharepoint
· Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer
