Lead AI Engineer - C++, Video GamesDescription: Lead AI Engineer C++, AI, Artificial Intelligence, Programming, Video GamesA computer game developing and publishing company is looking to hire a Lead AI Engineer for an opening at their Raleigh, NC location.Duties and Responsibilities:The Lead AI Engineer: Directs the development of flexible AI system code, AI behaviors, and in-game tools for editing and debugging AI logic. Participates in the implementation of core AI systems and features. Works closely with the Design Team to understand AI requirements for game titles. Breaks requirements down into clearly defined tasks for junior team members. Helps Junior Engineers with task estimation. Stays abreast of the latest trends and ideas in AI technology. Required Skills for this Lead AI Engineer position include the following: Excellent knowledge of C++ 3+ years of experience as an AI Programmer on video game projects Previous experience working with multiplayer titles involving Networked AI Sincere interest in developing processes around AI systems, including the use of editors and other tools Ability to lead others in a team environment Excellent communication skills Passion for making games B.Sc.
