The key responsibility for this position is to drive sales activity within a designated region.The ideal candidate will possess the following background and skills:- A quantifiable record of success in Education Instructional Technology sales- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales goals - Will have a solution-based approach to solving customer requirements- Must understand complex sales cycles, build consensus throughout multiple levels of organizations, and be adept at developing relationships at executive levels. - The ability to prospect and manage territory, as well as develop new business in competitive situations, is essential. - Additionally, this candidate should have established relationships with educational technology decision makers with school districts. Requires a seasoned sales professional with 4 ' 6 years experience selling instructional technology at K-12 Senior/Executive level.BS/BA degree required. Must possess excellent skill-sets in the following areas:time/territory management, prospecting, and verbal/written communication.Additionally, must be highly motivated and organized, able to travel, reside in the territory, MUST be located in/near Atlanta, Georgia area, work independently, and possess strong analytical/problem solving skills.
