Who we are: We are an 8-year old recruiting and staffing company that helps Software, Technology, and Healthcare companies in the US and Europe to hire specialized professionals in the areas of engineering, quality assurance, technical support, sales, and marketing. Our office in South Easton, MA (near Bridgewater/Brockton) is looking to hire a recent college graduate interested in embarking on a career in recruiting.

 

What we do: Our recruiters spend the majority of their day networking with relevant industry professionals, performing research online, reviewing resumes, and conducting phone interviews. We also deal extensively with hiring companies; learning about their staffing needs, offering counsel on how to best fill their vacant positions, and presenting suitable candidates. Much of our time is spend on the telephone, although a large amount of communication is taking place via email as well.

 

Who we need: A career in recruiting is best suited for people, who posses a strong work ethic, have excellent communication skills (verbal and written), and are very organized and goal oriented. An interest in business, marketing, or sales is important. Being a “people-person” is essential although most of our contacts are made via the Internet and the telephone – not face-to-face person. Being able to deal with adversity and having an interest in leading complex negotiations is critical. Having the desire to work hard in order to earn an exceptional level of pay is equally important (there are less challenging ways to earn an average paycheck than recruiting!).

 

What we offer: A casual, team-oriented work environment, flexible work hours, a minimum of 3 weeks vacation, fully-paid health & dental insurance (after 3 months), free candy (!) and access to state-of-the art recruiting tools. New recruiters will participate in a hands-on, 3-month paid training program, after which you are eligible to participate in TCI’s compensation plan, consisting of a draw against billings and an industry leading, uncapped commission plan. New recruiters should be able to achieve overall earnings of $50K by the end of their first full year of recruiting. Experienced recruiters typically earn above $50K per year, many of them exceeding $100K per year.

 

Requirements:

 

Two or Four-year degree in business, liberal arts, engineering, or similar.

GPA of 3.0 or better.

Evidence of successful past interaction with customers.

Familiarity with MS Word, Excel and using email (i.e. MS Outlook).

Ability to find people, places, things on line (i.e. via google.com).

Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.

Positive attitude.

At least two academic or professional references.

Ability to learn and retain complex terminologies and processes.

Ability to commute to our South Easton, MA office Monday through Friday.

Ability to engage in limited local travel (i.e. for meetings in Boston, or to visit our satellite office in Manchester, NH).

Any prior experience in the areas of HR, recruiting, sales or telemarketing would be a plus.
