Jr. Network Administrator

Ipro Tech, a leader in litigation software development is currently seeking an experienced Jr. Network Administrator to provide customer support to internal customers. 

This position requires working knowledge of Active Directory, Exchange and requires attention to detail. In addition some after hours/weekend work as well as on-call rotation will be required.  Job responsibilities include but not limited to:

· First level support for all hardware/software related issues.

· Provide timely response to help desk requests

· Conduct all interaction in professional and courteous manor

· Assist members of IT with projects

· Perform projects and tasks as assigned by management

Salary: DOE

Skills required:

· 2+ years experience working in a Windows Networking Environment (Server 2003, Windows XP, and Vista).

· 2+ year’s administration of Windows desktops in an Active Directory environment.

· 2+ years experience with desktop hardware installation and maintenance.

· 2+ years experience with networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NIC configuration, wireless.)

· 1+ years experience with asset management software such as Express Metrix.

· 2+ years experience with Web technologies, IE, Firefox, SMTP, POP

· Experience working from an automated ticket system, and with escalation process.

· Ability to display sound judgment and compliance with established policies and best practices.

· Attention to detail, desire to achieve excellence.

· Ability to work off-hours when required.

· Must demonstrate a positive, ethical and cooperative (team player) attitude.

· Keep electronic logs/documentation of work.

· Relevant Certifications: A+, Network+, Security+, MCP, and a related Associate or higher degree a plus.
