General Physics Corporation seeks several Jr. Graphic Designers. These individuals will be able to create and edit visual content related to web-based training (WBT) such as logos, banners, charts, tables, manipulating photos and simple animations. Such candidates work under tight deadlines and under close supervision.

Requirements: Candidates must have experience creating web graphics and possess a basic knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash and basic HTML.

Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Manipulate images/graphics for various web projects
• Touch-up photographs and graphics
• Develop graphics and simple animations for inclusion into final WBT products

Successful candidates must possess:
• At least 1 year of experience in graphic design
• Experience with desktop publishing/design programs including Adobe Photoshop, Macromedia Flash, Captivate!
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions closely
• Self-motivated and deadline-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills
• Excellent inter-personal skills, flexible and able to work both as a team member and independently
• A multi-media portfolio media showcasing prior work and a list of references.

The following are desired skills but not “must haves�:
• Programming tools (Macromedia Breeze, Articulate, etc.
• AV tools
• Knowledge of multimedia software and 3-D animation tools
• Basic editing of HTML
