Java Web UI Developer

Senior-level Java Web UI Developer


Specific responsibilities include:
* Architecture, design, and development of Java software
* Web Application design and development
* Working as part of a developer team
Additional Duties:
* Occasional Team leadership
* Occasional assistance with integration, deployment, etc.
* Work closely with quality assurance engineers
 
Requirements:
* BSCS or equivalent
* 7+  years object oriented architecture, design, and development
* 5+  years Java experience
* Strong knowledge of Web Application user-interface design and implementation using technologies such as JavaScript (Dojo), CSS, JSP, JSTL and DHTML.
* Strong knowledge of AJAX and Web 2.0 technologies.
* Professional experience with open source Java frameworks such as Spring and Webwork/Struts a big plus. Nice to have Hibernate experience
* Experience deploying applications running on Apache/Tomcat a plus
* Understanding of relational databases and SQL a plus

Travel is not expected but may be required from time to time.
