Purpose of Position:

Participate in the analysis, design, development, testing and implementation of enterprise SOA and integration solutions using Oracle tools and Java/J2EE technologies.  This person will have exposure to the full life-cycle of development and play a hands-on role through out the life-cycle of the project.  This person will have significant interaction with key client personnel. 

 

Ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success, aptitude, and experience within a custom development role.  You should be comfortable with database technologies, Oracle Application Server 9i and above, J2EE development including both front-end and back-end (JSP/Servlets to EJBs), application architectures and how to use different architectures appropriately to solve problems.

 

 

We are seeking individuals with following skills:

 Bachelor's degree ­­­­­­­­Java SDK development & J2EE development experience Experience with Java application servers (Oracle, JBoss, BEA Weblogic, IBM Websphere)Understanding of software design patterns and J2EE components (JMS, EJB, JSP, JSF, Servlets)Understanding of object-oriented concepts as well as relational database design and SQLExperienced in full life cycle of software development or methodology such as RUP; requirements analysis, design, development, testing and implementationOracle Portal, Oracle Application Server 10g or 9i, Oracle SOA suite experience a plus, but not required.Experience with EAI and BPM tools is a plus, but not required.Communication skills: strong presentation/ communication / facilitation skills (oral and written).General consulting skills, including: team facilitation and business case development. Business process analysis and redesign experience: business analysis skills; process mapping; business process redesign and implementation. Systems implementation skills:  requirements/process analysis, conceptual and detailed design, configuration, testing, training, change management, support Ability to travel

Technical Skills needed:

 

Experience with technology in one or more of the following areas:3+ years with Java and J2EEExperience with Java application servers (Oracle, JBoss, BEA Weblogic, IBM Websphere)Understanding of software design patterns and J2EE components (JMS, EJB, JSP, JSF, Servlets)Understanding of object-oriented concepts as well as relational database design and SQLRelational Databases  Microsoft skills, including PowerPoint, Excel, Project and Visio.
