Java Engineer

Java Engineer: Join the team that is helping to create a new breed of on-line tools for the global IT company community. Using your experience with Java technologies, you will create web-based applications and services for internal and external customers. You will be responsible for designing, building, testing, and deploying the web project; including clarifying customer requirements, evaluating alternative solutions, migrating existing data, designing database schema, building supporting infrastructure, developing application code, writing test plans and documentation, crafting deployment plans, and providing technical support. You will research new web technologies and provide technical leadership in developing service applications and analyzing business requirements. You will manage, develop, integrate, and implement related applications components from the front-end interface through the server-side application and database integration. You will be expected to work on a team from a variety of sources and prioritize tasks responsibly. You will need all of the good judgment you have developed during at least three years of related experience. This position requires professional experience with server side Java technologies, specifically: Hibernate, Struts, JMS, JSPs and Servlets. Professional experience with Ant, Maven, Spring, Web Services, Perl, Python, and ESBs is a plus.
