JR. JAVA Developer
General Summary:
Foreclosure.com is a profitable, fast growing e-commerce company representing several brands. We are looking for a bright, passionate and creative individual to join our team. We offer a business casual work environment.
Position is responsible for developing database-driven Java web applications. The Java Web Developer will work closely with senior architects and other team members to analyze the product requirements define the system requirements, design the application, etc. Good communication skills and ability to work with a team to resolve issues in a fast paced environment. Candidate should be proactive and willing to take responsibility. Should be flexible and maintain a positive attitude.
Required knowledge of JAVA Server, object-oriented programming techniques, strong SQL, and Internet protocols.
Our Development Environment:
Linux, Java, JBoss, Apache, Tomcat, Hibernate, Spring MVC, Postgresql, Eclipse and XP
Qualification:
Server-side Java design, coding and specification
MVC Model
Experienced with Spring and/or Hibernate frameworks is a major plus.
Knowledge of Linux / Unix shell scripting and developer tools and ability to deploy J2EE apps to a Unix JBoss server
