Do you enjoy working with smart and business savvy people?  If so, come join this dynamic team.  Our client has been working on a web 2.0 social networking enterprise web application for the past 3 years.  Now that it is up and fully functional with number of unique visitors growing exponentially, this great up and coming company is seeking for additional talents.  If you are seeking for the next best thing in the social networking space, this company is IT.  Here is your chance to trade in all your Project Management skills and creativity  We are currently looking for a senior java engineer experienced in designing and building high load scalable and clustered J2EE applications who will be working with our director of Technology and the operations and engineering  teams to prototype technologies and implement new tools, infrastructure components and standards to shape our next site architecture. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience working with J2EE technologies including Hibernate, JPA and JSF, a thorough understanding of SOA, API design and Ajax. Experience in distributed and multi-threaded systems and large website experience with an understanding of scaling issues is a must. We are seeking high-energy individuals who are confident in their communication skills, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and want to enhance their skill set with new technologies.  This person will be a “self-starterâ€� capable of working independently as well as in virtual global teams. Responsibilities:o Work with director of Technology to identify and set new guidelineso Research, prototype and present new tools and technologieso Oversee application architecture and help manage build  environmentso Assist in training engineering team on use of new technologies and toolso Participate in design to develop technical specifications, data conversions, migration, application interfaces  Requirements:·  BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent·  3+ years experience building Java web applications·  Excellent problem solving, analytical and communication skills·  Strong understanding of MVC, OO and related design patterns·  experience implementing high load internet based application systems implementing best practices for software code development, re-use, and componentization·  Skilled in developing complex and high load web-based applications·  Working knowledge of Hibernate, JPA, JSF and Spring·  Able to demonstrate experience creating applications with JBoss·  Experience with RichFaces, Ajax and SEAM a plus·  Experience with build management tools like ant·  Experience with version control software like SVN or CVS a plus·  Familiar with Eclipse or similar IDE·  Excellent communication skills and presentation skills·  Personalities: ambitious, dedicated, trustworthy, outgoing, fun loving  Compensations: Salary $90-$105k/year (DOE) + full benefits + equity stock options + telecommuting option Contact: PLEASE E-MAIL RESUMES TO: Apply by Email
