J2EE Developers

Both positions based in Miramar, FL. Position I: J2EE Web Engineer - locals onlyThe scope of the work is as follows:1. Provide direction for the team and influence solutions and architectural approach2. Creation of design specifications and UML based models.2. Development of J2EE based web applications.3. Perform unit and integration testing. 4. Investigate and resolve reported defects. Required skills/competencies: Software development (7 years)Object oriented systems (5 years)Web development (5 years) Experience with the technologies as follows:1. HTML, CSS, Javascript2. JSP, Tiles3. Struts4. Java, JavaBeans, EJB5. Rational Application Developer 6.06. Websphere Application Server 6.07. XML, XSL8. TSQL (Microsoft SQL server), JDBC9. Object Oriented Analysis and Design10. Rational Unified Process (RUP)11. UML12. JUnit - Database design and development experience with SQL and mainstream relational database engines such as Oracle and SQL Server.- Development experience with networking protocols (HTTP, TCP/IP, SSL, SMTP, etc.) Preferred Skills: Web ServicesUNIXApache J2EE certifications - SCJP, SCWCD are a plus. Contract duration: 4-5 mos+
Position II: J2EE Developer (this position open to citizens or permanent residents only)1. Creation of design specifications and models.2. Development of J2EE based web applications.3.
