NAVTEQ content is advertising supported so it’s completely free to consumers.  We are currently looking for a Inventory Planning Analyst - 11437 in Wayne, PA. Summary: The Inventory Planning and Media Buying Analyst will be responsible, as a member of a team, for assisting in managing the Traffic.com radio and television inventory, including approving Sales orders. This position will work directly with General Sales Managers, Account Executives and the Broadcast Traffic Dept. in providing the strategic planning in an effort to maximize revenues for the company.  REPORTS TO:  Manager Inventory Planning & Media Buying (Broadcast) Principal Duties:· Direct involvement in the day-to-day Broadcast Planning and Buying efforts to process all sales proposals and orders in a manner to maximize revenues on the affiliate inventory network. · Analyze inventory sellouts and availability while working with Sales to approve additional orders including the necessity to cash buy additional inventory as necessary to fulfill client order specifications. · Ensure timely and situation appropriate correspondence regarding both internal and external issue resolution, including, but not limited to, order approvals are sometimes up against deadlines in which the Inventory Planner/Analyst must ensure communications and approvals are done in an effort to enhance efficiency of the entire work flow process.· Work with the various departments for strategic planning for future growth, including Radio and TV Affiliation teams. · Manage relationships with out of network stations and/or agencies· Ensure immediate and direct feedback to internal constituents regarding order or system issues · Support sales to address client issues or concerns in a professional and timely manner· Facilitate communications among the sales staff and Back Office teams to improve work flow efficiencies. Promote cooperation between peers and other departments.· Assist in developing tools and tracking metrics as directed. · Assist in developing process improvements for implementation of orders from start to finish including avails, reservations, orders, buying outside the network and reporting.· Other related duties, as required Job Specification:· Bachelor's degree in related field; Business Management/Marketing, etc., or equivalent related experience.· Three to five years of advertising agency/publisher experience or other advertising experience. · Ability to effectively operate within a fast-paced, constantly evolving, team environment· Ability to effectively influence and communicate with all levels of management· Excellent oral and written communication skills· Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities· Proven proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
