Intranet Website QA/Business Requirements Project-Contract to Hire/Long term

For the commercial card division of a diversified financial services organization play a key role in the customization of an application to meet customer credit card management needs.  Must have SQL programming language experience as well as experience with intranet QA and writing business requirements.

 



This is a contract to hire position with conversion possible in early 2009.  This position can be a launching pad for a career move to a business analyst and project manager.  Work will be completed onsite in Houston, TX at 40 hours per week (consideration will be given for onsite work in Austin, TX and possibly Minneapolis, MN).  The client expects the consulting portion of the engagement to last 5-6 months.  Little or no travel is expected.  Interviews will be Friday, August 15.

Deliverables

Deliverables are expected to include, but not be limited to:

· Learn the client’s product and system through quality assurance testing

· Develop business and technical requirements

· Be a project resource and project manage as needed

· Communicate project status to stakeholders and team members

 

 

Industry Experience

§ Functional experience most important

 

 

Functional Experience (3-5 years)

· Producing business and technical requirements

· Developing or enhancing intranet websites

· e-Business systems familiarity highly preferred

· SQL programming language experience required

· Functional QA testing required

· Project management helpful
