Position Summary
This position will involve the design, configuration, and troubleshooting of SCC's system interfaces. Assists with the research and documentation of product requirements, development of product technical documentation, development and implementation of product test plans, internal and client training programs, support of alpha and beta product releases.

Education Required
Four-year degree in healthcare related field or computer science.  Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology is highly desirable.  Relevant experience may be substituted on a year for year basis for the degree. 

Experience Required
Previous health care experience resulting in a broad understanding of the clinical laboratory environment and operations.  Previous experience in the usage, file building, and troubleshooting of a laboratory information system is highly desirable. Previous experience in a service related field clinical laboratory, or related computer position desired. Previous experience with Interface Engines in a clinical environment, Unix, HL7 standards or ASTM will be a plus.
