Interface Software Engineer

 

 Job Description

Concerro, Inc. is a software company which produces a leading edge software product for the health care industry.  We are looking for a high-quality Java engineer who enjoy challenging assignments, a flexible but demanding work environment, recognition for excellence, and being on a team with other high-caliber people.  This position is specialized in the architecture and development of interface code to 3rd party applications.

 

Our compensation package is very competitive and includes stock options.

 Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate to join our team will have:

 

·         A minimum of 2 years professional experience of Java programming.

·         Experience developing on at least one major application server (we use JBoss)

·         Strong knowledge of SQL and JDBC.

·         Experience with JSP & XML.

·         The ability to be productive in a UNIX/Linux environment.

·         Experience producing technical documentation.

·         5 years of professional programming experience

·         Experience with Struts and Ant a plus.

·         Web Services development experience

·         Previous experience in solutions integration/interfacing

 

 

A bachelor’s degree in computer science is strongly preferred, but we will consider candidates who can demonstrate exceptional skill and/or experience in the field.

 Position Details

·         Full time, permanent position

·         Responsibilities include design and implementation of new features for the product.

·         Additional responsibilities include software maintenance and support, architecture and process improvement, and technical documentation.  

·         The position of Interface Software Engineer reports to the Director of Software Engineering and is open in San Diego
