Interaction Designer

Interaction DesignerUse your expertise in Human Computer Interaction and interface design to help Epic improve healthcare. Every day thousands of doctors and nurses use Epic software while caring for millions of patients. By making their user experience more intuitive and efficient, you can play an important part in improving patient care and safety. As an Interaction Designer you'll play a vital role in our development process by steering interface design, creating prototypes, researching the user experience, and collaborating with teams of software developers to promote user-centered design. Candidates should have a degree or substantial coursework in Human Computer Interaction, Interaction Design or have demonstrated experience designing usable interfaces. Experience with Photoshop and Illustrator a must. Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS is ideal. Experience with Dreamweaver, GoLive, and VB are a plus. In addition, we look for a minimum of a bachelor's degree and a history of academic and professional success.
