Inside Sales Representative - Software

We seek an aggressive and focused  Inside Sales Representative, who enjoys telemarketing and prospecting, to lead and build the sales pipeline of our new case management software product.  This is a terrific opportunity for the money-motivated salesperson, that is still early in their career, to work with an experienced sales team and continue to grow.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The successful candidate will be a degreed candidate with two to no more than five years of technology sales experience.  They will be based in our San Francisco HQ office and the bulk of their sales activity will be done via the phone and web.  They will work closely with our experienced sales team to close new business.  Key responsibilities include:

 

§  Account development including contact qualification, engagement. lead development, education, "evangelizing" our solution and bringing leads to a level where they can be closed.

  Build a sales pipeline that supports ability to achieve sales goals.

§  Developing a territory with a supporting regional business development plan.

§  Heavy prospecting and cold-calling within a target territory (approximately 50 -75 calls daily).

§  Utilizing our contact management program, managing and accurately reporting on inbound lead pipeline.

§  Drive inbound and outbound opportunities to revenue closure with sales team.  Work with the account team to develop and close accounts.

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

 

§  A minimum of two years experience selling software or technology in a B2B (business-to-business) environment successfully.  (HR case management software experience would be a strong plus.)

§  Must possess solid needs based selling experience with a proven track record of success in all aspects of the sales process. (prospecting, networking, qualifying, educating potential clients,, influencing, closing, account management).

§  Background in technology sales.

§  Consistent track record in achieving quotas.  Strong closer.Producer.

§  Must possess excellent verbal and written English communication skills with exceptional telephone sales skills. Comfortable with speaking to senior decision-makers such as HR Directors, HR Benefits Managers etcetera within Fortune 2000 corporations.

§  Proficiency with MS Office suite inclusive of WORD, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. 

Proficiency with contact management software and other tools such as WebEx.

§  Must be exceptionally organized, self-motivated, enthusiastic and focused.

Money-motivated.  A team-player.

§  Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college ( MIS or Business or Marketing preferred) or will substitute for relevant years of experience.
