This is a high energy, functional position requiring an individual to be extremely motivated and results-oriented.  As the Inside Sales Manager, you will be a self-starter and possess a strong entrepreneurial spirit, self-motivation, and solid business acumen.  You will bring strong leadership skills along with prior Inside Sales Management experience and have the vision and the drive needed to support the growth of the company forecasted over the coming years.

 

Roles/Responsibilities:Help build a pipeline for the North American sales team by contacting key decision-makers in a variety of businesses, across multiple market segments, and converting them into qualified sales leads to be pursued by field salesInstill best practices, training, management of and working with the Inside Sales team to optimize calling, prospecting and qualification of new sales lead opportunities.Optimize the process for taking raw inquiries, converting them to qualified leads and the resulting “hand-off” to field sales.Work in conjunction with the Marketing organization to proactively and aggressively pursue all potential lead opportunities generated by marketing campaigns, including but not limited to:  Email, direct mail, online advertising, webinars, seminars, and tradeshows.Understand and clearly articulate business issue(s), advising the prospect on latest technology and IT needs, value propositions and ROI - recommending Exact Software’s product line solutions.  Bring market intelligence into the Exact business resulting from contact with prospective customers.Take the initiative and lead by example - creating and directing effective telesales programs for inside sales, optimizing on the fly to maximize sales lead goalsMonitor day-to-day activity and productivity, as well as, engage in regular weekly, monthly and quarterly business reviews to ensure accurate forecast activities.  Install standard metrics to report on activity and performance.

Qualifications:Minimum of 5 years of experience as an inside sales or sales quota-busting manager in a B2B high tech software or enterprise class organizationStrong leadership and mentorship skills along with excellent interpersonal, motivational and communications skills to successfully lead by example and manage a team of inside sales repsProven experience and success of prospecting and qualifying leads via inbound/outbound phone and marketing activity and converting them into sales opportunitiesStrong initiative, confident and driven, with an incredible desire to succeed in a sales and marketing driven organizationMust work well in a team environment, interacting and working cross functionally with all internal stakeholders including Field Sales, Marketing and Professional ServicesSolid understanding of sales cycles, forecasting, KPI’s, conversion and other success metrics to drive salesCRM, ERP, Supply Chain Management or BI experience strongly preferredBachelors degree required
