Inside Sales Lead Generation Representative

The Lead Generation Representative has a direct impact on the overall success of the company. The role is to identify leads for our North and South American SDL Trados Technologies sales team.

 

The successful LGR will prospect and produce qualified leads at enterprise organizations through aggressive outbound calling to decision makers and executives in target organizations. Contacts to call will be generated through purchased lists and internet searches.

 

The Lead Generation Representative will follow up on cold call targets, identify contacts and determine buyers and decision-making influencers.  LGRs must be confident in providing the SDL’s Desktop message and value proposition, generating interest in SDL’s solutions and services. 

 

Requirements: BA/BS in related field or equivalent experience required.Requires 1-2 years of inside sales / phone sales experience preferably in the high tech industry. Ability to communicate solution, value proposition and ideas succinctly at a high levelAbility to cold call into an organization and identify key decision makers and influencersSelf-motivated and able to appropriately set and pursue own goals intelligence, energy, and interest, in support of the organization's goals. Organized, flexible and able to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously; pays attention to detail and able to report results in a concise format. Able to plan, organize, and follow job activities in accordance with their importance and respond flexibly and effectively to changes or interruptions.Working knowledge of an SFA solution; Salesforce.com desired, not requiredMust be a skilled communicator with a dynamic and engaging phone presence who excels in questioning, and listening, to determine the prospect’s needs. Must be a fast learner who enjoys self-education and pursues training, as he/she must be able to verbalize an initial value concept of the GIM solutions and services.Must be able to generate well written correspondence to targeted customers.Focused, polite, and persistent, he/she knows how to learn and derive strength from rejection.Understand and communicate basic sales message and positioningMake frequent targeted contact with provided target areas, or provided contact lists Capable of effectively qualifying decision makers, budget holders and basic interest in SDL offering and scope of opportunity Can present our GIM message in the best possible way, ensuring a professional level of  correspondence is sent and when necessary, appropriate promotional material. Ensures qualified contacts are provided for Business Development Managers on regular basis (refer to plan for target number)Assists with central appointment planning for Business Development Managers, taking into account journey plans.Assist with marketing campaigns to promote specific aspects of the SDL Solutions offering.
