Job Category: Sales/Retail/Business Development Company: Borland Inside Sales Inside Sales Rep *Sells the company's products and/or services via telephone *Generates prospective customers through cold calling and closes sales generated by cold calling. *Qualifies and follows up with sales leads. *Direct customers to web site or other company resources for information. *Establish and maintain relationships with channel partners. *Keep up-to-date knowledge of the industry as well as the competitive posture of the company. *Has thorough knowledge of company products/services. *Must enjoy being on the phone all day! Responsible for initiating calls to potential and existing clients. Promotes and sells products and services of the company. Develops solicits and closes new and existing accounts. Generates sales quotations. Handles customer inquiries and performs a variety of administrative tasks. Works with team members of the organization, including field sales. 2 years successful software sales performance (Will consider 4+ years Telesales experience in a business-to-business market), Proven track record of meeting and exceeding revenue goals, Experience developing, managing and closing accounts in the software industry, excellent communication skills, completed a formal sales training program (Solution Selling preferred), experience using an automated lead tracking system. Ability to accurately forecasting revenue.
