IntraISP continues to pave the way for feature rich billing & business management systems well into the 21st century.IntraISP currently is seeking a Network and Infrastructure Administrator for our headquarters in St. Louis, MO. This is a full-time position and requires a minimum six years of work or equivalent educational experience. The ideal candidate will have worked in a medium to large support organization and have understanding of administrative processes and how they impact environments. We're specifically interested in candidates with a background in Cisco and Linux Administration.DutiesPosition will be responsible to doing and documenting a variety of administration tasks. These responsibilities include handling tasks such as:• Design, implementation and management of Cisco, Dell and HP switches and routers.• Provide support for all aspects of network administration including data, voice, wireless, WAN and security.Qualifications: • In dept knowledge of network administration technologies.• Experience as leader in administrating small to mid-sized networks.• Experience creating detailed technical work instructions for our service support personnel.• Experience working on Linux Server operating environments.• History of working with technology experts with different backgrounds to solve complex problems.Candidates possessing the following qualifications are preferred: • Cisco and Dell Switches• CCNE or CCNA Certifications• Experience using Linux operating systemsResponsibilities• Provide ongoing technical and leadership expertise in supporting the IntraISP environment’s growth and scalability initiatives.• Lead occasional major projects utilizing a structured Project Management Methodology.• Define and execute a training strategy to ensure all team members are properly training and prepared to support the corporate storage and data backup environments.• Perform management and administrative functions as required to ensure proper development and career guidance for direct reports.• Collaboratively work with various functional units to improve Service quality and deliver process improvements.• Provide daily direction and mentoring to team members and technical leaders.• Utilize monitoring and performance measuring tools to improve storage and data backup environment.• Ensure Storage and data backup environment is scalable, highly available and reliable to support various growth initiatives.Position Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Computer Science.• 5-7 years experience working on an IT support team with very strong focus on critical data center services delivery.• The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of proven success in technical roles in a large SAN storage and Linux/Unix environment. • Specific expertise in the design and build out of physical data center sites in an on-going, critical delivery business is a must.• Formal process design and implementation experience.• Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical decision making skills.• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to relate to people at all levels in the Organization.• Service oriented approach to address technology issues and solutions.• Solid understanding and experience in implementing performance monitoring and metrics gathering tools.• Candidate must be hands on with management background in a fast paced, production environment with both Unix/Windows experience.• This highly technical role requires someone with exceptional technical ability and vision together with outstanding leadership and people skills of technical communities. It requires the ability to provide exceptional levels of service in a fast moving, constantly changing and flexible environment.*This position Requires in depth technical experience and knowledge to be able to get involved in the day to day details within the data center and infrastructure. *This position does not provide relocation assistance, candidates must be local to St. Louis or willing to relocate on their own accord.Our headquarters is located in St. Louis, Missouri and we have an office in Overland Park, Kansas.
