Information Assurance Analyst

We have an opportunity for a SW Developer/Engineer to join our IA (Information Assurance) group.  Qualified candidates will have 2 - 3+ years programming experience using .Net with a desire to start down the track to an Information Security Specialist 

 

You will be responsible for designing and developing a suite of custom, proprietary security programs to include:Security baseline applicator for Windows systems Security scanning tool for auto document generation (word and pdf) Automate patch checking and customize/improve Solaris and Windows (batch) scripts

 

You will have the opportunity to gain/enhance skills in the Information Assurance/Security discipline:Become proficient in vulnerability scanning and analysis Become proficient in penetration testing Become proficient in IAVA management Become an expert in DIACAP and NIST C&A

 

Qualified candidates will have experience with the following:.NET (2 - 3 years) Automated install scripting Windows Batch Scripting Understanding of Windows XP/2003 Local Security Policy Understanding of the Windows Registry Willingness to adhere to stringent best business practices for programming Ability to learn new skills quickly Comfortable working with a team of Security experts with varying skill sets Ability to take ownership of projects and work with moderate to limited supervision Be eligible to obtain Active and/or Interim US DoD SECRET clearance
