Purpose of Position:
Hitachi Consulting’s Pacific Southwest practice is currently experiencing growth, and we are looking for strong individuals to add to our team. Due to our continued success we are seeking qualified candidates who are interested in playing key roles in leading and participating in consulting engagements in a variety of target areas.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for creating user-centric web site and web application architectures that are experiential, scalable, intuitive, and easy to use. Provide client and creative/project teams with insight and ideas to create salient user experiences.

1) Act as an advocate for the user, creating structures that help users accomplish their goals quickly and easily.
2) Work directly with creative team to develop intuitive user interfaces.
3) Work directly with technologists to develop use cases and functional specifications documents.
4) Author/Co-author the following documents:
· Site Maps
· Process Flows
· Task Paths
· Page Architectures (Wireframes, Schematics)
· Develop organizational models, navigation, and taxonomy / hierarchies
5) Contribute to strategy sessions with competitive, environmental and landscape reviews as well as user research
6) Contribute to usability testing by developing stimuli and participate in analysis of results.
7) Must be able to travel.

Ideal Candidate

The Experience Architect must have at least 3 - 5 years as an IA working on complex, large-scale projects (eCommerce, Portal, and/or Web Content Management) with large teams.
