Implementation Specialist-EPM

The ideal Implementation Specialist will effectively educate and guide Client's Core team, end-users, and new internal employees on software configuration and front end functionality to ensure proper utilization of the NextGensoftware and ancillary applications.
• Exercise independent judgment to organize and plan Client sessions to ensure each session is tailored to the individual client need in respect to their specific practice workflow and procedures.
• Perform analysis of Client's databases and take the appropriate course of action. Action taken may include but are not limited to:
o Correct/address issues and/or problems identified during analysis
o Communicate/escalate issues/problems to the appropriate department to promptly and effectively address issues 10%
• Perform software customizations, ranging from basic to complex, in accordance to Client customization requirements. Process requirements for enhancements and/or new features to the appropriate department.
• Travel nationally. Out-of-office requirements are approximately 80 -90% annually.
Required:
o Excellent organizational skills
o Ability to manage classes of up to 10+ students
o Ability to be self-sufficient as most Implementation Specialists are remote employees
o Ability to travel (must have drivers license, credit card, government issued ID, etc.)
o Excellent people skills
o Ability to deal with stressful situations
o Ability to manage customer expectation while on-site
o Professional demeanor
o Customer Satisfaction oriented
o Must become a NextGen Certified Professional at completion of initial training
Preferred:
o BS in Business Management, Education, Computer Science, or related fields
o Medical industry training experience
o Significant experience with class room style training
o Basic working knowledge of client/server applications
o Basic understanding of technical terminology
o Previous training and implementation experience
o Knowledge of and/or experience in ambulatory health care settings
